my adhd tool kit
listen up, if you have adhd you need to tame it but never dull it. this is your superpower and weakness. till now technology was a curse for us adhd folks. not anymore. the AI era is going to be game changing for us.
my toolkit in no particular order:
- one sec (app that pauses for a second before opening an app to make your more mindful of usage)
- sleep + exercise (basic stuff)
- supplements: l-theanine, caffeine, omega 3, multi-vitamin, nicotine (i don't encourage this but if you want to give it a try - absolutely no vaping, no smoking, no zyns - use gums or lozenges start with 2mg), just started thesis will update on its effects in a while.
- cluely: on demand ai, use it to record meetings for action items and note taking in general. prevents task/tab switching since ai is right on your screen anywhere, saves searching.
- gemini/notebook lm: watching long youtube videos is a pain, get the cliff notes and chat with the video with these google tools.
- notion: dump everything, organize stuff - dont spend too much time organizing it doesnt matter anymore because you have notion ai.
- apple notes + reminders: no brainer if you are on the apple ecosystem
- figjam or excalidraw: started using it more recently for brainstorming.
