i got to thinking about gender roles and equality - i recently started using a dating app again. i don't know why i do it, i haven't been very 'successful' at it.
a match asked me to meet for a boba date and in response, i replied "sure, do you know a spot?". and i was ghosted. a more experienced friend told me i should've just found and named a boba place and the fact that i asked her for a suggestion lost me that match.
i was puzzled and decided to give up once again.
are men still required to call the shots? because i really don't want to. i'm more than happy to let my woman "wear the pants".
i also don't know how to play this dating app game lol. i think i don't care enough?
